We typically work with buy-side teams that take a multi-asset approach or that have a top-down, macro bias. We are also happy to work with firms that do not have a multi-asset team, provided that the roles in a question have a multi-asset or macro focus. An example would be a private wealth management firm where the PMs manage segregated multi-asset mandates for clients. Additionally, we are very well positioned to build out teams at macro hedge funds.
In terms of roles, we specialize in CIOs, Strategists, PMs, Analysts, Economists, and other similar front-office positions, both on the buy-side and sell-side.
We are well positioned to work with teams across the multi-asset spectrum. Our network includes strategists and analysts that specialize in single asset class coverage (such as an FX strategist within a multi-asset/macro team), as well as multi-asset generalists, including portfolio managers, analysts, strategists, fund selectors, and CIOs.
Naturally, there is a large macro element to most roles in the multi-asset space. As a result, we are comfortable sourcing top talent for investment and research-focused roles within the global macro hedge fund community. We also have relationships with macro sales people in London and New York, primarily in the research space.
Within fixed income, we cover portfolio managers, strategists and analysts. We are happy to work with fixed income teams, as well as multi-asset teams that are looking to add a fixed income strategist or a portfolio manager with a fixed income bias. We also have access to a small network of credit analysts (IG and HY) in London, although this is not our core area of focus.
Several of our clients have systamatic/quantitative multi-asset teams and we have recently started working on several searches in Alternative Risk Premia/Alternative Beta space. This was a natural progression for us from discretionary multi-asset and over the last few months we have built up a large network of Portfolio Managers, Analysts/Researchers, and Developers with strong quantitave background.
