When I originally started Laz Partners after pivoting out of macro sales, the focus was firmly on multi-asset portfolio management and strategy.

A key focus next year will be expanding our team, while doubling down on our insurance expertise, alongside our traditional core specialisations.
One thing I want to acknowledge openly - and with gratitude - is that one of the hardest parts of this job is only being able to directly help a small percentage of the people who reach out to us. The volume of messages, emails, and WhatsApps we receive is humbling, even if it means we cannot respond to everyone as quickly or as often as we would like.
One of our goals next year is to add more value at scale through high-quality, original (non AI-generated) content and market insight - aimed at both candidates and clients - even where we cannot immediately work together.
