Senior Credit Analyst (US HY Focus)
We have partnered with a leading global asset manager looking to hire a Senior Credit Analyst to join their London team.
The role will be based in London and our client is looking for candidates with experience covering US High Yield names across Industrials and/or TMT, and who are open to focusing on US names in their next role.
The Credit Research team sits closely with the PMs, which run a range of strategies including Global IG Credit, HY Credit, Short-Duration, and EM Debt (to name a few).
The ideal candidate has will have 10-15 years’ previous experience in a similar capacity, either as buy-side or sell-side Credit Analyst, as well as a demonstrated track record of trade idea generation and a clear research framework.
Though the role is focused on High Yield names, there is the flexibility to invest across the cap structure and cover Investment Grade as well.

Reason This Role Exists:
· As part of our clients’ future plans they are building out a UK-based fixed income/credit research team
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis across diverse sectors and regions, with a primary focus on USD issuers across HY & IG Industrials and/or TMT (with potential to take on additional sector coverage)
- Work with the Portfolio Managers across different strategies
- Develop investment views & RV trade ideas for portfolio managers
- Monitor market developments & adjust investment positions as needed
- Communicate investment strategies and market conditions to clients
Requirements:
- 10 – 15 years’ experience in fundamental credit analysis within a buy-side or sell-side environment.
- Proficient understanding of fixed income markets & instruments, including derivatives
- Capable of conducting ESG analysis & integrating findings into investment decisions (preferred)
- Proven ability to deliver timely, high-quality analysis under pressure
- Excellent presentation & communication skills, with fluency in English
- Proactive in identifying investment opportunities with minimal supervision
