Role Overview
We have partnered with a leading Investment Manager looking to hire a Quantitative Analyst for their highly respected quantitative strategy team base in Zurich. The team has a strong track record and is going through a major growth phase, and this expansionary hire would be working closely with the portfolio managers and leadership across the broader business.
The core of the mandate would be supporting the senior quants with projects they are working on across IG Credit, Private Credit, and broader fixed income products, as well as building models and supporting with ad-hoc quant work across various investment desks.
The role is at Analyst level, with a realistic path to Associate after a couple of years for someone who performs well.
Key Responsibilities

Support the senior quants on IG credit and broader quantitative projects

Build and run quantitative models covering stochastic processes, probabilities, and Monte Carlo methods

Work across a range of tasks spanning data analysis, model development, pricing and output review

Handle multiple concurrent tasks at pace and deliver clear, well-reasoned outputs to the team
Requirements

0-2 years of experience; strong recent graduates with the right technical profile are also welcome

A top university graduate with a STEM degree in mathematics, computer science, financial mathematics, engineering, or equivalent

Strong academic grounding in quantitative methods: stochastic modelling, Monte Carlo simulation, probability theory

Python fluency, able to build tools and run analysis independently from day one

Fixed income or credit knowledge is a plus, the team will teach the specifics on the job

Sharp analytical mind, comfortable working independently on open-ended quantitative problems
