Director, Leveraged Finance

Role Overview:

Our client, a fast-growing alternative investment manager, is looking to hire a Senior Vice President/Director to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be joining from a Leveraged Finance or M&A team at a bulge bracket investment bank and will have a strong track record in structuring and executing complex transactions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the origination and execution of new transactions
• Present investment opportunities at the firm’s Investment Committee meetings
• Support the management and monitoring of existing portfolio companies
• Oversee and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering their professional growth and success
• Work closely with the Chief Investment Officer and senior investment team members to contribute to the strategic direction of the private investments team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Currently a VP III or Director in a Leveraged Finance or M&A team within a bulge bracket investment bank
• Proven track record in originating, structuring, and executing complex transactions across various industries and regions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and lead a team
• Driven, energetic, and resourceful self-starter with a positive mindset
