High Yield Credit Analyst

Role Overview:

We are working with a growing asset management firm, headquartered in Switzerland (Lugano), that focuses on total return strategies across a range of asset classes, including fixed income, equity, and multi-asset. Originally founded as a multi-family office, the firm is transitioning into asset management, with the launch of public UCITS strategies planned for early 2025. With over $1 billion in AUM and continued expansion they are looking to add a HY Analyst to their fixed income team.

This role offers the potential for progression into a risk-taking position, such as a Portfolio Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate investment ideas within the HY space and actively participate in investment committee discussions
• Provide support to the team`s macro (top-down) research efforts
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the fixed income investment process

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in HY/leveraged finance, with deep sector expertise
• Knowledge of multiple sectors and companies is a plus
• Ideally a proven track record of providing long investment recommendations that have contributed to superior risk-adjusted returns
• Prior buy-side experience is preferred
• A degree in economics or a related field from a top-tier university, with excellent academic credentials
• Understanding of macroeconomic drivers, including growth, inflation, and monetary policy.
• CFA designation (completed or in progress) is an advantage
• Fluency in English is required
• Ability to work effectively within a small team.
